St. Mary’s Church is a founding parish in Escondido. The new church design allows for a one-story addition, which preserves and embraces an exterior mural of Saint Mary. The entrance narthex is configured around a new baptistery. Parishioners are invited to enter the Church through and past the living waters of a baptismal font and emersion pool. The narthex space is seamlessly designed to flow into the existing main sanctuary. The exterior façade features brick veneer walls, copper roof, skylights and wood framed windows to reflect the architectural style of existing parish buildings.
