Dolores Huerta Cultural Center

The Dolores Huerta Peace & Justice Cultural Center ("P&JCC") will be a new construction, approximately  30,000 square foot facility built at 21st and Eye Streets in downtown Bakersfield, California. The P&JCC will be a multicultural community center that will serve as a headquarters for DHF and include offices, meeting  rooms, a childcare facility, art gallery, outdoor events plaza, indoor auditorium, and a community organizing training academy. In addition, the campus will provide a permanent location in Kern County to honor the historic civil rights legacy of local leaders and the contributions of the many immigrants who worked the land, enriched the culture, and built California's economy.

QUINCE STREET SENIOR HOUSING

The proposed project is a senior housing development in the City of Escondido, CA. The development shall include 145 units of affordable senior apartments, a community center, leasing offices, laundry facilities, community gathering and landscaped areas, and podium parking. This project will replace three existing warehouse buildings built in the late 1960s.

VENTANA AL SUR APARTMENTS

Ventana Al Sur is a proposed 101 affordable senior multifamily residential development in San Ysidro's vibrant downtown area and historic district. Ventana al Sur is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and transit. For commuters, it is ideally located at a short distance from Interstate 805 and major employment centers. In addition, it is situated within a quarter-mile walking distance of the Beyer Boulevard Trolley Station and the Blue Line, which provide convenient transit connections and access to the San Diego region.

MONTE VISTA APARTMENTS

Monte Vista Apartments is a new village that incorporates many of the livable elements associated with the city of Poway. This 75-unit multi-family development promotes a neighborly environment, emphasizing pedestrian access and major recreation areas. An example of smart growth development, Monte Vista will be located in an area of local businesses and health institutions. The development offers housing near a high-employment area, and most importantly, it will provide affordable housing to Poway's working families.
