Chula Vista, California
The Creekside Pointe project consists of 119 market-rate apartments on a 3.8 net acre site in Chula Vista, California. This mixed-use design offers a blend of residential, commercial and community spaces and buildings. The architecture is a California style influenced by historic Spanish buildings with the use of stucco walls, mission barrel tile roofing, exposed wood rafters and trellis elements. The project is designed to be consistent with the surrounding commercial and residential buildings. The architecture will be varied and inviting to both tenants and visitors. The street scene along Third Avenue will feature a commercial storefront with adjacent live-work units. These spaces will promote and continue commercial activities along this important public thoroughfare. Residential units, over these commercial uses, will also be part of the street scene with balconies and windows facing Third Avenue. The interior of the development will consist of three-story residential buildings oriented toward a natural open space, courtyards, linear parkways and swimming pool. Centrally located will be a two-story Clubhouse. The Clubhouse will provide interior recreational spaces, exercise room, lounges and management offices. The Clubhouse will be the center of community activities.
The surrounding neighborhood is an eclectic mixture of residential, office, commercial and retail uses. Creekside Point will complement the neighborhood with its mixture of uses and varied architecture. This new residential village add more variety along the street with strong walkable connections and support new and existing businesses along Third Avenue.
